Hi, I’m Laura.

My background is in finance operations, having spent 10 years working for a global insurance broker. Perhaps not the most exciting back story! However, working in this environment allowed me to see things from an efficient angle in terms of internal processes, while also seeing the customer journey and looking to improve their experience. But I also love chatting with people and helping them make decisions based on how it feels as well as the numbers - something we’ve become so detached from. If you want to help others improve themselves/their business in some way, we’ll get on great.

I have been in the online space since 2018, running a small online metal stamping shop for a time, and working as a Virtual Assistant. With a keen eye for detail, I have also proof-read and edited a few books. Freedom OBM was created because I craved the freedom and flexibility to choose my hours and the people I work with - something that unfortunately the corporate world can’t offer! I have found many entrepreneurs haven’t worked in corporate and can benefit from collaborating with someone who has that experience. I always find a different perspective on things can really make a difference and the smallest of tweaks can lead to big changes.

I am a big believer in serendipity and eating well to improve your health (though a bar of nutty chocolate can easily steer me off-course). I absolutely love my dogs and enjoy walking them somewhere peaceful in Norfolk, UK with my husband.
